Definitely worth the money and even though have always enjoyed taking photos, it has made me even more interested in learning and even learning about the different birds and craters of the Moon. Long as you charge it up for least 2 hours before use. I took 300 photos and video and camera was on alot inbetween when going to the zoo and it still had alot of batter power left. Even a plane that was miles away! Only downside which is a small one, is that it is quite bulky so I hope one day one maybe smaller with the same features as technology progresses. I mainly got this for the big zoom and even without a Tripod you can still get decent enough pictures of Birds or the Moon etc. And since buying one so far I have not been disappointed.
